Racing News
Wednesday pm Racing
Wednesday pm summer racing starts on 1st May. Firstly there is a 5pm informal pursuit race. This is followed by the 7pm (19:00) handicap series race - please note that as a handicap race ALL boats will start at 7pm.
Junior Sailing Start Date
We look forward to starting junior sailing on the 4th May. Please can you be at the club for 1330 and suitably attired. Whilst it may be warm the water is still very cold. Please ensure you have a good wetsuit, boots, buoyancy aid and a bobble hat. If it's windy gloves and a spray top are also an advantage. We’ve plenty of water at the moment, and some new boats to play with, RS Teras x2, an RS Vision and the usual optimists, toppers and Fevas.
We plan to do the RYA stage 1&2 assessments on the 22nd July before everyone disappears for the summer holiday. Fun week is the 24th – 27th July and the season will finish with the chocolate regatta on the 29th September.
Hope you can join us for the season.
Tim and the Junior sailing team.
